British Summer Smashes Net-Zero Records
Photo-Cartoon: global heating, what global heating?
While much of the planet melted under extreme global heating this summer, Britain reminded us just how crap normal weather can be. July and August were pretty much a write-off. Breaking all the records for net-zero sun!
A typical August beach scene: There's not so much global heating going on in this place.
Rain fashionistas have been getting ahead of the weather - with the added benefit that if they are hit by flash flooding they just flip over onto their head and float to safety.
Family fun time: Forget wild swimming or camping, taking an ‘outdoor shower’ is the hot (not) new trend. After all, can anyone afford traditional indoor hot water bathing any more?
If you’re looking for a sizzling hot summer you might do better to head to Arizona. Maybe postpone your British summer vacation until around 2035 by which time global heating might have arrived at these shores!
